I ran across another interesting website regarding sugar . Click on the word sugar to go to the website. The information about orange juice was especially interesting to me. I highly recommend stevia as a natural sweetener. I use it in my tea and I can also make chocolate milkshake with it.
Chocolate Milkshake
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp cocoa
1-3 packets of truvia or stevia to taste
3/4 cup ice
Blend in blender or magic bullet.
My son loves these milkshakes.
The other day I made gluten free bread from Bob's Red Mill gluten free flour and using their recipe I modified the recipe a little bit. I was surprised when the dough looked more like quick bread batter than bread dough. The finished product was very good. I miss bread when eating gluten free!

Congrats on your weight loss... I've been quietly following your blog the past week or so. I wish I had thought of doing something like this when I started my journey. I have been wondering though what made you stay away from fresh fruit? and your article is right about honey... unpasteurized honey is far superior I have a guy I get it from down here and love it!

I wanted to cut out as many sugars as possible and fruit have natural sugars. I can't wait to start eating fruit again.
ReplyDeleteWhich bread recipe did you make? I am hoping to try one later today or tomorrow. Did you use Guar gum or lecithin in yours? Your blog is amazing and very inspirational. You should write a book!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Click on the word recipe in my blog and it should take you to the recipe. =) I didn't use gaur gum or lecithin. But I did get gaur gum today so I am going to try it. I did sub honey instead of sugar and it worked.
